StateOf is committed to respecting the confidentiality and protection of personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the applicable legislation in Romania.

By using the StateOf Circle platform, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Data Collected

For the creation and use of an account on the Platform, we collect the following data:

• Full name – for user identification
• Email address – for authentication and communication
• Phone number – for validation and direct communication
• Password – stored in encrypted form, cannot be viewed by StateOf
• Technical data (IP, browser type, device, access date/time) – collected automatically for security and service optimization

3. Purpose of Data Processing

The collected data is used exclusively for:

• Creating and managing the member account
• Verifying access eligibility (StateOf customer and social media follower)
• Communicating about events, activities, and community news
• Ensuring Platform security and preventing fraud
• Improving user experience

4. Legal Basis

Data processing is based on the following legal grounds:

• Execution of a contract (creating and managing the user account)
• User consent (by checking the agreement box upon registration)
• Legitimate interest (platform security and service improvement)

5. Data Storage

Data is stored in secure environments and protected against unauthorized access.

• Passwords are encrypted and cannot be viewed in plain text by the StateOf team
• Data is kept as long as the account is active or as necessary to comply with legal obligations

6. Data Sharing

Your data will NOT be sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be shared only:

• With IT service providers who ensure the hosting and security of the Platform
• With authorities, in case of a legal obligation

StateOf applies technical and organizational measures to protect data (encryption, firewall, restricted access).

StateOf reserves the right to update this Policy. The revised version will be published on the Platform, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
